Robot Vacuum Suction Ratings
The Pa figure each manufacturer states, side by side — and why it should not be read as a cleaning score.
Manufacturers advertise suction in pascals (Pa). It is the most-quoted number on a robot vacuum listing and the easiest to misread. This table lists the figure each manufacturer states — sorted, but not a ranking of cleaning ability.
Manufacturer-rated suction
| Robot | Rated suction | Type | Brand |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro | 36,000 Pa | Vacuum + mop | Roborock |
| Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 | 25,000 Pa | Vacuum + mop | Dreame |
| Roborock Saros 10R | 22,000 Pa | Vacuum + mop | Roborock |
| Dreame X50 Ultra | 20,000 Pa | Vacuum + mop | Dreame |
| Narwal Freo Z Ultra | 12,000 Pa | Vacuum + mop | Narwal |
| eufy X10 Pro Omni | 8,000 Pa | Vacuum + mop | eufy |
| ECOVACS DEEBOT X2 Omni | 8,000 Pa | Vacuum + mop | ECOVACS |
4 robots we cover publish no Pa figure in the sources we checked: iRobot Roomba j7+ (7550), eufy RoboVac 11S (Slim), Shark AI Ultra (XL HEPA base), iRobot Roomba Combo j9+. That is a gap in the listing, not a statement about their suction.
What this number does and does not tell you
- It is a manufacturer rating, not a measurement. There is no shared test procedure that every brand must follow, so figures from different brands are not directly comparable.
- It is not cleaning performance. Real pickup also depends on brush design, agitation, airflow path, navigation coverage, and floor type — none of which a single Pa figure captures. A larger number is not evidence of proportionally better cleaning.
- Different products use different modes. Ratings usually describe a maximum boost setting, which robots do not run continuously.
- We do not test suction. If independent measured results are published for a model, we would cite them as such and label them separately from the manufacturer figure.
