Troubleshooting
App Not Finding Your Robot Vacuum? Fixes to Try
An app that cannot see the robot is usually one of a few known issues. Work through these in order before contacting support.
Quick answer
Make sure the phone is on the same 2.4GHz network as the robot (not a guest network), the robot is powered and in pairing mode, and the app is up to date. If it still fails, remove the robot from the app and add it again.
Check both are online
- The phone is on the same Wi-Fi network as the robot.
- The robot's status light shows connected, not pairing mode.
- The robot has power and is not asleep.
Guest networks and isolation
Guest networks and "AP isolation" can stop a phone reaching a device on the same router. Try the main network. Router-side settings are covered in Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
App and firmware updates
An outdated app can fail after a firmware update. Update both, then reopen the app.
Permissions
Some phones need location or local network permission granted to the app to discover devices. Check the app's settings.
Remove and re-add
Remove the robot from the app, reset its Wi-Fi as your manual describes, and pair it again as new. The full flow is in connecting to Wi-Fi.
If it still fails
Try a different phone or a known-working 2.4GHz network. If the robot pairs elsewhere, the problem is your network. If not, contact the manufacturer.
Frequently asked questions
Will a factory reset delete my maps?
A full reset can. Check the manual, and try removing and re-adding first.
Why did it disconnect after a router change?
A new network name or password means the robot must be re-paired.
Can VPNs interfere?
A VPN on the phone can block local discovery. Turn it off while pairing.
